Job Summary:

The Marketing Salesperson will be responsible for generating revenue through the sale of radio and digital advertising solutions. You will develop relationships with local and regional businesses, identify client needs, and create customized advertising strategies that leverage our radio and digital platforms to drive client success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and develop new advertising clients across various industries.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts.
  • Create and present tailored radio and digital advertising proposals to potential clients.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (production, creative, digital) to execute campaigns successfully.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, audience analytics, and competitive media landscape.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales progress using CRM tools.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in media sales, advertising, or marketing (radio and/or digital sales experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing (SEO, SEM, display, social media advertising, programmatic).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment with measurable goals.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office (or Google Workspace).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in B2B sales, particularly in media or digital advertising.
  • Knowledge of local market dynamics and business landscape.
