$16-$18/hr

Full-time: 7:15am – 1:30pm or Part-time: 7:15am – 11:00am or 11:00am – 1:30pm – No weekends!

A local catering company in the Orange City, IA area is looking to hire a Part-time or Full-time Cashier. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for managing customer transactions, providing excellent service, and ensuring an overall positive experience. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, have strong communication skills, and be able to handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers as they enter and provide assistance with their orders.
  • Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions at the register.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional manner.
  • Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service role is a plus.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
