Accountant

Job Summary:

Our client is a growing construction company and seeking an experienced accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in construction accounting practices, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and possess strong analytical skills. This is a full-time position with an open salary range, 60-80k+ starting first year.

Responsibilities:

Manage financial data and transactions for multiple construction projects Prepare financial statements and reports for management Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations Monitor project budgets and provide financial analysis Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction accounting preferred Proficient in using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero Knowledgeable in construction accounting practices and regulations Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills If you are an experienced accountant with a passion for the construction industry, we encourage you to apply for this position.
