Lakeside has a long-term care nursing home with an attached, certified assisted living, located in Emmetsburg, IA. We are a licensed Medicare/Medicaid facility, with the capacity for 45 residents in the nursing facility and 12 in the assisted living.
We offer physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy to those who are recuperating from surgery, illness or hospitalization.
Here at Lakeside, we have a special care unit called “The Haven”. The Haven was built to serve individuals with a primary diagnosis of dementia, such as Alzheimer’s. Common features of this program include a segregated living unit with special design features of dining and socialization. Family support and staff training are provided.
